Sherman, set the wayback machine for March 9, 2007.Â
The west-side homeschool group picked our support meeting in March to be our first science fair. Duncan and Cheanna had individual projects going on (resistors and wind seed dispersal, respectively) but we decided to enter only the “family” project that included Emma and Elena.Â
Duncan is posing with the final display. View the album here for greater detail.
We’ve been up to a few things here and there.
Duncan, Cheanna and Duncan’s birthday-twin friend went with me to view Body Worlds 3 on Thursday at the AZ Science Center. We spent three hours in the exhibit and still couldn’t take in all that there was to see and learn.
I found a really cool horseshoe-shaped folding table at DI this week. Awesome for the home education scene and can handle extra seating for eating too. Pics may come when the front room’s recovered from the sudden rearrangement, though there’s a few in the queue ahead of it.
Replaced the keyboard, much to my delight. I can type and all the errors are truly mine now.
Going to see the OB every two weeks is straining my free babysitting supplier =)  When I’m going weekly is when the real fun begins!
So, there’s a chance I could deliver the same week as my doc, d’oh! Her due date moved to 7 May… I’m rethinking the going into labor outside of her house if she’s only going to be 2 or fewer weeks postpartum. On the other hand, she says she delivered a baby the night before she gave birth last time, so if I do go earlier than I want to there’s a little silver lining there.Â

BiV at Hieing to Kolob has this up at her blog right now and I thought it sounded like a great idea. We’ll have candles lit at our home through the day, a reminder of our purpose in fasting & prayer in addition to the powerful image that candles have in bringing light to darkness, even eight little points of light.Â

Readers and Friends, a few concerned citizens would like to announce a peace vigil to be held Sunday, March 4, 2007. We are concerned at the escalating tensions in the Middle East and desire to send positive energy into the universe toward this situation. If you would like to participate, we urge you to pray, fast, or meditate that American and world leaders will be directed to work in peaceful ways for the solutions to political tensions. We hope that many of you will feel directed to write blog posts announcing the vigil and calling for peace and positive solutions.
