Who’s got the voodoo dolls and what is up with your sick ear fetish??!

Here’s the damage thus far:

• Ephraim–infections in both ears, positive flu test (2/22)
• Elena–infection in one ear, positive strep test (2/25)
• Emma–infections in both ears, negative strep test (2/27)
• Anya–infection in one ear (2/27)
• Me–two infections in one ear (2/20) pain in other ear (2/26) hacking cough (2/15) fever & chills (2/27)

I have another doctor appointment on Friday–in the meantime, keep yer pins to yourself!!!

I have two infections in my ear. Ephraim has one in each ear. It’s been ear drops and antibiotics galore here at sick twisted freak central.

Elena & Ephraim have also sported 105+ temps this week–kleenex consumption way above average for Cheanna & Duncan. Bleargh.

It’s not easy, blowing green.

I wish it really was just mind-over-matter, because I’ve had some great intentions and implementations that have been buried by empty cold medicine packs and orange peels.

I might as well hack out a little blog entry.

Emma Catharine completed her seventh year last week. What an amazing firecracker, our Emma, the spark she gives our family is irreplaceable.

Girl Scout Cookie sales are in full swing.

Ephraim is not suffering from Samson-syndrome, but we miss his red locks all the same.

Anya has a weak cough, no teeth, and the biggest brightest smile a nine month old could have.

Duncan will receive his religious knot at next week’s Blue & Gold Banquet.

Cheanna enjoys her weekly tennis and semi-weekly ballet lessons; her hard work and dedication is paying off.

Elena bowled a 95 at a scout sisterhood activity with her Daisy troop and another Brownie troop.

It’s been one of those years so far–here’s to some better *cough*cough* times!
