Téa, it means a lot to know you’re thinking about me, but please don’t worry too much over my condition. I’m in very good hands with the doctors at MassGeneral Hospital. I’m also very lucky because I barely have any outward symptoms, and the ones I do have are controlled with medication.

I’m even doing better than I was when first diagnosed– my doctor called all excited today to tell me how good my labs looked, and that my liver was functioning much better than it had been in a long time.

The downside is that transplant is still the only long-term option, and there’s no way of changing that, but I’ve come to accept it. I’m on the list for a transplant, so I feel safe. There is no reason why it won’t be successful, or why I can’t come through it and be better than my old self.

Maybe this will still seem scary to you. But I’m not afraid at all, only hopeful about what the transplant would mean for me.

So happy you shared the FiF video. Cary and Josh are amazing muscians. I can’t wait for them to make it to your area so you can meet them!

I understand you’re having difficulties with your teeth. I wish you had inherited my strong yellow beauties (haha). But I’d dearly love to be closer to you, you are much that I actually need!

I suspect what is not observed by yourself is the extra that she gets that the others did not. It’s too easy to be sad about what you think is missing. I bet she feels well loved even if you feel things are not as you would like.

Keep up the good fight, he needs those services and the IEP. They really like to bill Medicaid for those services so if they can’t, they’ll try really hard to say he doesn’t need them.
