06/21/2005: "Back in the saddle again..."

I have so many things that need to be entered here, and so little time for the moment. Let me excuse my "absence" thus far...
After returning home from a fun camping trip Saturday, I suddenly developed a blinding headache and nausea. I spent most of the night alternating between throwing up, dry heaving, and trying to stay hydrated... Bleah. The headache disappeared sometime in the night, but the stomach problems remained.
Rinse, lather, repeat for Sunday. Ugh.
Monday, Richard stayed home to try to nurse me back to health/hydration without my needing to procure an IV. Thankfully everything stayed down, despite my stomach's best heaving efforts.
Today I feel so much better--hooray! Just in time for Elena's birthday!!! Since we skipped most Elena Eve festivities due my condition, we'll be doing that tonight as well. I'll be blogging about those activities, as well as the prior week's events and musings as time permits. Thank you for your patience =)
