07/14/2005: "A safer ride"

at a higher price than we expected--yikes. The van has new tires now, is aligned within acceptable standards, and is freshly oiled/lubed =) I get to figure out how to make the finances work, somehow... But it is safe to drive now, so that no longer stands in the way.

I had lots of time to work on my lists yesterday seeing as we spent from 9:30-4:30 waiting in various places for the repairs/installations. I wish I could have been home to actually be doing some of that work, but the waiting wasn't as bad as it could have been. I received a few compliments about the children's behavior, particularly there at Coulter--that always helps =D

I saw the van's thermometer hit 121 as we were driving home yesterday--very grateful for air conditioning here!!
