02/02/2006: "Happy Groundhog Day!"

Gotta love it--here in Arizona the groundhog could see his shadow, but it was all brown and hazy.

Yep, we're on day 106 without rain.

Pollution advisories abound.

Oh and Phil has a message for you! Can you decode it?

You know for some strange reason I am really fond of groundhog day and hope someday to get out to see Punxsutawney Phil. That might be more realistic than my other choice of Rome! hehe :-)

I love the movie "Groundhog Day" and need to do some channel surfing and see if anyone is playing it!

Down here it was only on Showtime--bummer!

If you haven't checked out groundhog.org, go do it! It's the official Punxsutawney website =)

The ground hog saw his shadow here for sure too. A friend who just moved here from Denver said,"I guess that means six more months of winter since we live here in Idaho." I told her,
"No, only three. By the last of April and into May winter should be over for sure." :)
