04/18/2005: "Oliver Twist"

mood: thankful

Just finished watching part II of Masterpiece Theatre's Oliver Twist. It was hard to watch at times, much as any show with violence for me, but particularly heartwrenching were the cries of children, babies... the sorrow I felt coupled with gratitude that I am able to be here for my children is hard to put into words...

Elena sat on Richard's lap for part of the dvd, and sang primary songs for us...I hope she always remembers that she indeed is a child of God. We're all the children of God, we're all in need of His mercy, we're all loved beyond measure.

I should retire now, before the morrow comes. Tuesdays wait for no woman =)
